A popular TikToker is accusing rapper Nicki Minaj of only supporting controversial Jamaican creators on the platform.
TikToker-turned-recording-artist Khandi recently vented her frustration during a TikTok Live, questioning the types of people Minaj chooses to gift.
However, comedian Majah Hype has come to Nicki’s defense, calling Khandi “entitled.” In the comment section of a post discussing the issue, Majah Hype wrote: “The voice of entitlement. The same way everybody has a right to gift who dem want, she have that right also! Nobody don’t give nobody nothing fi put dung.”
Nicki Minaj, a frequent TikTok user, has become a top supporter of Jamaican TikTokers, sparking mixed reactions.
This isn’t the first time Minaj has faced such criticism—last year, Dancehall veteran Macka Diamond also called her out for not acknowledging her on the app.
