Reality series, Love And Hip Hop Atlanta featuring Dancehall entertainer SPICE is moving to MTV Network.
On Saturday (May 13), SPICE shared the news with her over 4.1 million followers on Instagram. “Besties I’m going to be on MTV every Tuesday night starting June 13, so grab your popcorn and get ready @LoveAndHipHopAtlanta rolling over to a new station”, she wrote in part.
Music News understands that Paramount is moving around a number of its unscripted shows, and hopes to find new audiences.
The move comes as the company is exploring a sale of BET Media Group which now includes VH1, meaning that it will keep a number of its biggest titles on its other network.
The VH1 series, which is in its 11th Season, which will air this summer, is being rebooted and will follow a more “docu approach to storytelling” as it documents the lives of women who have built their empires in Atlanta.
Graci Noir CEO Spice, who seems excited about the move, told her Instagram followers, “#GlobalQueen taking over #MTV giving you a look into my #RealWorld.”
Spice is slated to speak at the Atlanta Women’s Expo that will run from May 20 to 21.
