The nominees for the 2026 Grammy Awards are out, and competing for the coveted Best Reggae Album title are Vybz Kartel, Lila Ike, Jesse Royal, Keznamdi, and Mortimer.
This marks Kartel’s second Grammy nomination, and he is the only Dancehall artist in a category dominated by reggae performers. Reggae singers Lila Ike, Mortimer, and Keznamdi have all earned their first nomination, while Jesse Royal celebrates his second.
Lila Ike stands out as the lone female in the category with her album Treasure Self Love. Vybz Kartel’s Heart and Soul, Mortimer’s From Within, Keznamdi’s Blxxd and Fyah, and Jesse Royal’s No Place Like Home complete the lineup.
The 68th Annual Grammy Awards, music’s biggest night, will take place on February 1, 2026.
