MC Nuffy is calling out Dancehall entertainers, saying they should’ve publicly congratulated Vybz Kartel following his crowning as King of the Dancehall at Reggae Sumfest on July 18.
A visibly upset Nuffy, who is Kartel’s official emcee, made it clear that Beenie Man is not the issue — instead, he pointed fingers at what he described as “bad mind” artists.
Nuffy’s rant follows what appears to be a Kartel diss from Jahshii during his performance in Masicka’s set.
He also called out Jahshii directly, claiming that Kartel had shown him love in the past.
Masicka, who performed on Festival Night 1, declared that he would not return to Reggae Sumfest. He hinted that something went wrong but did not provide details.
According to Reggae Sumfest, over 25,000 fans packed Catherine Hall on July 18 — arguably the largest turnout in the festival’s history.
