Dancehall entertainers Bounty Killer and Masicka have joined the ongoing conversation about molly, a lab created drug, being marketed to young first-time drug abusers between the ages of 12 and 17.
It was entertainer Lincoln 3Dot who first initiated the conversation. After being dragged for unknowingly dating his cousin, Lincoln 3Dot questioned why Jamaicans were concerned about him, when the country has what he describes as “a huge drug problem.”
An article subsequently followed quoting a molly dealer who warned against the use of the popular drug.
Bounty Killer shared the headline of the article on his verified Instagram page, which he captioned, “Word of advice to the young or old.”
Meanwhile, Masicka, in the comment section, wrote, “Anybody pop molly a crack head naturally.”
According to international reports, some of the chemicals in Molly have been reported to cause intense, prolonged panic attacks, psychosis, and seizures.
However, it doesn’t end there, after MOLLY wears off, the chemicals can cause devastating depression and several of these compounds have caused deaths.
Skeng, Navaz, and Intense are some of the entertainers who have sung about popping the dangerous drug Molly.
