Vybz Kartel’s road manager Cordel Skatta Burrell has seemingly responded to talks that the Dancehall star should perform with a band.
Nigel Staff of the legendary Ruff Kutt Band, revisited the conversation during an interview with The Fix, stating, “Vybz Kartel could never manage a band,” and adding that “it takes talent to perform with a band.”
In a recent social media post, Skatta shared a photo slide of Vybz Kartel and his team standing beside a private plane. His caption read, “Band of Brothers & Sista is the only Band We need,” followed by the hashtags French Guyana, Dancehall King, Dancehall Cinderella, and Team Grinch.
Vybz Kartel is scheduled to perform in French Guyana later this evening (Aug 15). Despite not using a live band, he has sold out multiple shows across the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean performing over tracks.
