Vybz Kartel, Shenseea, and Collie Buddz are among the nominees vying for Best Reggae Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards next year.

The Recording Academy announced the nominations this morning (Nov 8).

This marks Vybz Kartel’s first Grammy nomination for his album Party With Me. For Shenseea, this nomination for her album Never Gets Late Here is her first as a solo artist; she was previously nominated in 2022 as a featured artist on Kanye’s Donda album.

Collie Buddz, who was nominated last year, scored a consecutive nomination for his album Take It Easy. Also included in the category are Evolution by The Wailers and the soundtrack Bob Marley: One Love – Music Inspired By the Film.

Albums that did not make the cut for a Grammy nomination include Spice’s Mirror 25, Etana’s Nectar of the Gods, Masicka’s Generation of Kings, Bugle’s Apex, Teejay’s I Am Chippy, and Romain Virgo’s The Gentleman.

Meanwhile, 2024 Grammy winner Julian Marley and Alex Anteaus received a Grammy nomination in the Best Remixed Recording category for the Jah Sees Them Amapiano remix.

The 2025 Grammy Awards will be held on February 2 in Los Angeles.
