Aspiring actors and local talents aiming to break into the Hollywood movie industry are invited to a workshop next month spearheaded by accomplished actress, Sundra Oakley.
Oakley, known for her roles in productions such as “Bob Marley: One Love,” “The Resident,” “Code Black,” “All American,” “Being Mary Jane,” “Legends,” “Sex and the City,” and the upcoming Hulu/Disney+ limited series “Washington Black”, shared exclusively with Music News today (April 22) that the goal is to arm Jamaican actors with information.
Hosted by Sundra Oakley, who is of Jamaican heritage, the 2-day actor-focused and centred workshop titled Inside Hollywood: The Business of Being an Actor, will also feature a panel of Hollywood film and television industry experts.
Slated to run from May 18 to 19, the workshop will be held in Kingston, to empower, inspire, and help actors become industry-ready.
