With hurricane Beryl threatening to impact the island in less than 36 hours the Bob Marley Museum has closed its doors to the public.
In a release on its official website and social media pages the museum shared that due to the threat of Hurricane Beryl, the museum and Tuff Gong International will close early today, Tuesday, July 2 and will remain closed on Wednesday, July 3. The museum will reopen for business as usual on Thursday, July 4, provided it is safe to do so.
The release ended by urging everyone to take the necessary precautions and stay safe during the passage of the hurricane.
A hurricane warning has been issued in Jamaica. Hurricane Beryl is expected to bring life-threatening winds and storm surge to the island on Wednesday and impact the Cayman Islands on Thursday, where a hurricane watch has been issued.
