Dancehall artiste, Armanii, recently crossed paths with Ari Miller, a New York-based wayfaring musician who creates music entirely from scratch, inviting anyone to hop on the mic, while live streaming across social media under the moniker, Ari at Home.
A video shared by Ari on his verified Instagram, highlights, Armanii performing his 2024 breakthrough hit song HAAD (Fiesta), to one of Ari’s on-the-spot compositions on a street in SoHo, New York.
In the video, Ari was heard inviting Armanii to drop a track on a beat he was creating. Armanii took the challenge, indicating his preference for dancehall and proceeded to play a sample from his phone to inspire the beat, after Ari said he didn’t know how to make dancehall, as he was not familiar with the genre.
Ari created a catchy beat in under ten seconds, paving the stage for Armanii to sing the lyrics of the chart-topping track, followed by You and I, another of his popular songs, much to the delight of spectators on the scene.
Ari said the encounter with Armanii has sparked his interest in dancehall, referring to Armanii as a ‘crazy dope talented artiste’ further sharing that he intends to listen more music from the genre.
The post shared with Ari’s over 1.3 million followers on the platform, has garnered a myriad of likes, shares and over five thousand comments, with many supporters writing that both Armanii and Ari are super talented, adding that the on-the spot composition was a banger.
