Singjays Shaniel Muir and Busy Signal have teamed up with Red Stripe for Team Jamaica’s official theme song, for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Titled ‘Jamaica all the way’, the track was produced by Olympian Usain Bolt on a customized rhythm and is part of Red Stripe’s Guh fi Gold and Glory campaign.
The song starts with an intro from the Lightning Bolt, himself, commanding Jamaicans to, “mek some noise and cheer fi team Jamaica”. The energy picks up with Busy Signal joining in with his soothing vocals belting the lyrics, “so we dweet everytime when we celebrate, tell dem start the race, a Jamaica we seh.”
Shaneil Muir joins in, adding more excitement, singing, “yeah when we touch de stadium yuh know seh we jamming it, a Jamaica we seh all the way.”
The catchy track with a duration of two minutes and twenty-five seconds, was created by Red Stripe to generate cheer from Jamaicans globally for Team Jamaica’s contingency to the Paris Games.
The Paris Olympics will run from Friday July 26, 2024 – Sunday, August 11, 2024.
