Dancehall deejay Gage is speaking out following the tragic death of Tiktoker and upcoming artiste Xavier “Niah Gang” Fogah, who was shot and killed during a TikTok live session over the weekend.
Gage, in a TikTok video, explained that he had repeatedly warned Niah about the dangers of going live on TikTok while on the street.
Videos circulating on TikTok confirm that Gage had indeed cautioned the 23-year-old Tiktoker about the risks of live streaming in public spaces.
Niah was reportedly engaging in a TikTok live match with a man sitting next to him. During the session, Niah was having a grim conversation about gun violence with another TikToker when gunshots rang out. Both Niah and the man beside him attempted to flee, but more gunshots were heard moments later.
The live continued, with screams and frantic conversations in the background alerting viewers that someone had been fatally shot.
