Drift hitmaker Teejay has responded to HipHop heavyweight FunkMaster Flex’s challenge to bury the hatchet and do a collaboration with Byron Messia by Thursday of this week.
On Sunday, the host on New York City’s Hot 97 radio station, shared a collage of photos of Byron and Teejay and asked, “DO YOU GUYS ACCEPT THE MUSIC CHALLENGE? YES OR NO? CHALLENGE! CHALLENGE! CHALLENGE! I CHALLENGE TEE JAY! I CHALLENGE BYRON MESSIAH! I CHALLENGE BOTH ARTISTS TO COLLAB ON A NEW SONG BY THIS THURSDAY 7 PM ( HOT 97 ),” he wrote on Instagram.
He also tagged both entertainers and Teejay’s manager, Sharon Burke, along with their respective labels, Special Entertainment, Warner Music, and Interscope Records.
To convey his response, Teejay used a snippet of an interview with Pablo YG saying “Me woulda affi think bout that still.” In the caption, he tagged FunkMaster Flex writing, “Jah know” followed by the Jamaican flag.
Meanwhile, Talians hitmaker Byron Messia is yet to respond.
A collaboration with Teejay and Byron Messia would end the ongoing beef that started following comments made by Byron Messia in a private Instagram group with his friends.
