Billboard dancer Gabbidon, the choreographer behind the routine for Teejay’s popular track “Drift,” is expressing gratitude after the song and dance were featured in the global hit video game series, Fortnite.
Teejay confirmed the feature with a series of posts on Thursday, after it went viral on social media Wednesday night. The characters within the game were programmed to perform the popular choreography, a move that left Gabbidon amazed. During a Music News exclusive today (May 10), the seasoned dancer said he’s happy to be a part of something so big for Dancehall.
DJ Khaled and American rapper Lil Mama, best known for her 2008 hit “Lip Gloss,” are among the latest celebs to learn the “Drift” dance move from Gabbidon.
