Entertainers Cecile and Zagga joined the chorus of social media users in showering Sean Paul with congratulations following his historic win for the Best Crossover Collaboration of the Year at the recently concluded, Latin Music Awards.

Sean Paul, who copped the award for “Nina Bonita”, a collaboration featuring Feid, tells Music News that he feels proud to wave the Jamaican flag for yet another time.

Sean Paul also shared the feat to his verified Instagram account where he also expressed his gratitude. In the comment section, Cecile chimed in with her excitement, saying, “Congrats my bro!!! Big deal,” accompanied by a red heart and two flame emojis, while Zagga playfully dropped the word “Dutty,” in reference to Sean Paul’s label and brand.

In related news, Sean Paul’s latest philanthropic efforts see him teaming up with Damian Jr Gong Marley, son of Reggae Legend Bob Marley.

Through his Sean Paul Foundation, he recently donated US$6,000 to the Alpha School of Music.

These funds will support the upcoming 8th season of performances by the Alpha Community Band, commencing on April 28 at the Kingston Creative’s Downtown Artwalk and concluding in June.

Additionally, Sean Paul gifted the Alpha School of Music an acoustic guitar signed by himself and fellow Grammy Award-winning artist Damian Jr Gong Marley.

Sean Paul also contributed funds to the enhancement of the Music Technology Department, including the development of new studios and rooms for skills training.
