Camera man demands apology from Elephant Man

Dario Shields, the cameraman at the centre of an alleged assault involving Elephant Man during his Dream Weekend performance on August 1, is demanding a public apology.
A statement from Knight, Junior & Samuels, the attorneys representing Shields, say that notwithstanding the issuance of an apology, Shields has instructed the firm to consider and pursue all legal remedies available to him.
According to the attorneys, their client was allegedly dragged by entertainer O’neil Bryan, popularly known as Elephant Man, while carrying out the duties for which he had been hired.
They also claim that the artiste directed derogatory and degrading remarks at Shields during the incident, leaving him embarrassed and emotionally distressed.
The legal team further alleges that Shields’ professional camera equipment was damaged during the encounter and despite public statements suggesting an apology had been offered, their client has not received any formal apology.
As a result, they are calling on Elephant Man to issue a full, public, and unequivocal apology acknowledging the incident and the impact it had on Shields.
In response to mounting social media criticism, Elephant Man posted a video on Instagram on Tuesday saying he meant no harm and that he had apologized to the cameraman. He also clarified that Fire, the elderly man seen being pushed off the stage was a member of his team taking part in a planned performance.
