Dancehall deejays Demarco and Black Ryno are the latest entertainers going after producer Rvssian.
As the ongoing conversation prolongs about authorization, Demarco is asking Rvssian to give him clearance for a collaboration with Shenseea titled ‘Waiting For You’.
In his IG story, Demarco wrote, “@Rvssian mi have a Shenseea collab bout 2 year now weh nah get clear!!! How much yuh a charge mi fi clear it, US$10,000.00?”
Demarco followed up with a post on his Instagram timeline declaring that he would put out the song unreleased because he’s tired of it sitting on his desktop. According to Demarco, in 2024, “everything gets heard.”
In an unrelated situation, Blak Ryno claims Rvssian reached out to him to record on the Dutty Money Riddim and then refused to authorize the song. Blak Ryno vented his frustration while flat ironing his hair in a video making the rounds across social media.
Kyle Bulter, son of ace football coach Craig Butler has also challenged Rvssian accusing him of having a ghost producer and made an offer of a million dollars if Rvssian can produce a Riddim live. Rvssian subsequently showed his receipts in a live video and told Kyle Bulter to have his money by today.
Rvssian has been the subject of a few controversial conversations. His comments about Dancehall and so-called gatekeepers having no control have also sparked online conversations among industry players, music lovers, and media practitioners.
