Reggae singer Gramps Morgan who has received a Grammy consideration for his latest project, Deeper, in the Best Country Album category, says it would be historic for the genre, the culture, and the country if he scores a nomination when the nominees are announced next month.
During a Music News exclusive interview, Gramps, a member of the Grammy-winning Morgan Heritage clan, expressed gratitude for the inclusion in the Best Country Album category.
Gramps Morgan sits on the brink of history because if he scores a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album with his EP Deeper, he would be the first Reggae solo artist to be nominated in that category.
Gramps Morgan’s EP ‘DEEPER‘ is a follow-up to his album Positive Vibration which scored him his first Grammy nomination last year in the Best Reggae Album category as a solo artist.
The nominees for the 2023 GRAMMYs will be announced on Tuesday, November 15.
