The suspect in the murder of 14-year-old Price Johnson is now in police custody.

Police say that at about 3:50 PM yesterday, the man was arrested on Crescent Road, Kingston 13 and taken into custody.

It was reported earlier that the girl was sexually and physically assaulted at her home in Palm Grove Court in St. Andrew last Thursday.

Reports are that at about 1:59 PM, a man entered the apartment where Johnson resided and attacked her.

Residents reportedly heard screams coming from the apartment.

A relative, who was alerted, entered the apartment and was later seen wrestling with the man.

The attacker escaped.

The teen girl was later found with wounds to her head and face.

She was taken to hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
