Superstar Sunshine Girls defender Shamera Sterling-Humphrey will be featured in an upcoming docu-series on Australian TV.

The feature, titled off the court, will premier on Foxtell, Kayo Sports and Fox Netball Australia.

Sterling-humphrey…who is the reigning MVP in the Suncorp Super Netball League, is the defensive lynch pin for defending champions Adelaide Thunderbirds who are currently third on the table after notching 3 wins and a loss to open the 2024 season.

In the preview aired on social media, she spoke about her upbringing and what drove her to play netball.

The Montegonian  is having another standout season on the defensive end, ranking first in deflections and intercepts with 27 and 15 respectively and is also third in defensive rebounds with 8 and 2nd in Nissan net points with 409.

She returns to centre court alongside Romelda Aiken-George and Latanya Wilson in round 5 when the Thunderbirds play away to a Melbourne Mavericks team that features fellow Jamaican Shimona Nelson-Jok at the John Cain Arena on Saturday.
