Students who witnessed stabbing near Chetwood Memorial Primary in St. James receiving counselling
Some students who reportedly witnessed a stabbing incident close to the Chetwood Memorial Primary School in St. James are receiving counselling support.
Principal Gavin Atkinsoin said the stabbing took place at about 7 A.M.
He said generally the incident did not affect normal school operations.
He noted that the children who were traumatised by the stabbing, were taken to the guidance counsellor.
The condition of the victim is not known.
Its not clear what caused the altercation, but police are probing the matter.
