Striker Malik Mothersille completes record-signing move to English Football League (EFL) League One Club Stockport County
Fresh from making his Reggae Boy debut at the 2025 Unity Cup in England recently, striker Malik Mothersille has completed a record-signing move to English Football League (EFL) League One Club Stockport County for an undisclosed fee.
Though the official transfer fee has not been announced, Stockport County confirmed it eclipsed their previous transfer record of eight hundred thousand pounds, they had paid for Ian Moore back in 1998.
The Jamaican International made the switch from fellow league one club Peterborough where he had stellar season, scoring 16 goals and tallying 10 assist in 57 games.
Stockport county finished third in the league’s standings, just missing out on automation promotion to the EFL Championship.
