Steps being taken to replace Hillsbrook Bridge in Hanover – Warmington
Minister with responsibility for works, Everald Warmington, has indicated that steps are being taken to replace the Hillsbrook Bridge in Hanover, which collapsed last week.
Mr Warmington gave the update while touring sections of Westmoreland on Wednesday.
The Hillsbrook Bridge was compromised by heavy rainfall last year, before its collapse.
The collapse has left the communities of flower hill, Woodsville and Hillsbrook, partially cut off.
The works minister has indicated that the National Works Agency, NWA, is working with the Hanover Municipal Corporation on the replacement process.
