The new slate of state ministers was announced this morning, ahead of the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for this afternoon at King’s House.

Six women are among the list of 13 mainly new appointees.

Kerensia Morrison will be the new State Minister for Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport.

Krystal Lee will be assigned to the Health and Wellness Ministry, Rhoda Moy Crawford to Education, Skills, Youth and Information and Tova Hamilton to Tourism.

Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert will be assigned to the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs and Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn will return to the Ministry of National Security and Peace.

The other state ministers are Delroy Williams for Local Government and Community Development; Donovan Williams to the Labour and Social Security Ministry; Delano Seiveright to Industry, Investment and Commerce; Alando Terrelonge to Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade; Zavia Mayne to Finance and the Public Service; Frank Witter to Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining; and Senator Abka Fitz-Henley, who will be appointed to the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister has also appointed a Parliamentary Secretary.

He is Senator Marlon Morgan, who will serve in the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth and Information.

Today’s swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for 1:00 P.,M. at King’s House.
