St. Mary police probing sexual assault of seven-year-old girl
The St. Mary police are probing the sexual assault of a seven-year-old girl in the Fellowship Hall Community.
Commanding Officer, Superintendent, Bobbette Morgan-Simpson, who described the incident as a severe sexual attack, said the alleged perpetrator is in police custody.
She told IRIE FM news that he is believed to be of unsound mind.
Meantime, Superintendent, Morgan-Simpson noted that the parish has been experiencing a recent surge in cases of sexual offences.
