A St. Mary man has been arrested in relation to the seizure of several ganja infused products, including candies, yesterday.

This after a targeted operation was conducted by the St Mary Police in collaboration with the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division at a residence in Tower Isle.

Reports are that at about 5:00 a.m., lawmen acting on information searched a two bedroom house and discovered a significant assortment of cannabis-laced items.

Among the items seized were 2 hundred cannabis-infused gummies; 17 sugarcane candies labelled “High Vibes”; several packets of edible cannabis products ; 11 cups of compressed ganja strains; among other items.

Police say this successful raid underscores the commitment of the Jamaica Constabulary Force to disrupting the illicit drug trade and ensuring the safety and well-being of communities across the island.
