St James public health services disapproves of unsanitary act by female vendor at Charles Gordon market
“We don’t want it here in Montego Bay, St. James.”
That’s the declaration from parish manager for the St. James Public Health Services Lennox Wallace, as he expressed disapproval of an unsanitary act by a female vendor at the Charles Gordon market.
Wallace’s comment is in reaction to reports that the female vendor appeared to urinate in a bottle, while sitting at the side of a vehicle that was parked along the roadway.
The incident was captured on video, which has gone viral on social media.
It has garnered public outrage, with many comparing the actions of the St. James vendor to those of the Crab Circle vendor in Kingston.
Speaking with Irie F M News this afternoon, Mr. Wallace said public health officials found the offending vendor today.
He said appropriate action will be taken.
