The St. James Police seized 57 rounds of ammunition during an operation this morning.

Reports are that at about 7:15 a.m, lawmen were conducting an operation in the Montego Bay area when a premises was searched. 

During the search, forty-three 5.55 millimetre rounds and fourteen 9mm rounds were found in a bottle hidden in a cellar.

They were seized.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
