St Elizabeth police probing discovery of bodies in separate incidents
The St Elizabeth police are probing the discoveries of two bodies in separate incidents between yesterday and this morning.
In the latest incident this morning, skeletal remains were found in a burnt out car in Coker District
Reports are that some time early this morning, a passerby saw the burnt-out vehicle and summoned the police.
On their arrival, the remains were found inside the car.
Police say the identity has not yet been ascertained.
The remains were removed to the morgue pending further investigations.
Meanwhile, the body of a woman was found floating in a river in Barton, in the parish, on Tuesday.
The woman has not yet been identified.
Reports from the Lacovia police are that about 5:00 P..M., residents saw the body in the water and summoned them.
On arrival of the lawmen, the decomposing body was seen face down, in the water.
It was clad in a black brasserie, pink underwear and khaki pants; the body has a rose tattooed on the right ankle.
Investigations continue.
