St. Elizabeth police intensify search for two suspects allegedly involved in shootout with cops last Friday
The St. Elizabeth police have intensified their search for two suspects, who were allegedly involved in a shootout with cops last Friday.
An alleged accomplice was reportedly killed during the incident.
Head of the St Elizabeth police, Acting Superintendent Coleridge Minto said several operations are being carried out with hopes of locating the two suspects.
He is appealing to the men to turn themselves in to the police and for residents to refrain from harbouring them.
Meantime, the St. Elizabeth police have recovered a firearm believed to be linked to Friday’s shootout.
Police say following the incident, they led an intelligence operation in Grossmond where they searched a Honda fit motor car.
The search yielded a Glock 17 pistol with 17 rounds of ammunition.
