St. Ann Police say public order operations being undertaken in the parish, are going smoothly
The St. Ann Police say public order operations being undertaken in major towns of the parish, are going smoothly.
The operations are being conducted in Ocho Rios, St. Ann’s Bay and Brown’s Town and are targeted at motorists and vendors.
This, in an effort to maintain order on the streets.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ryan Gayle, says the motorists and vendors are being compliant despite vendors complaining about deplorable conditions in the markets.
Meanwhile, Mayor of St. Ann’s Bay Michael Belnavis, says the markets are in reasonable condition and that constant repairs are being done, however vendors prefer to be closer to consumers by staying on the streets.
