A St. Andrew businessman is suspected to have committed suicide at his residence on Merivale Close, this morning.

The name of the deceased has not been released but he is believed to be in his forties.

According to the St. Andrew North police residents found the businessman in his Ford Ranger motor truck at around 3:00 A.M. and alerted them.

Upon the arrival of the lawmen, the businessman was found in his vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.

His licensed glock pistol was also found in the motor truck.

Investigations are ongoing.
