Atlantic Records music executive, and Popcaan’s older brother and former manager Demonie Wilson more popularly known as Squidell, is now an author.

The St Thomas born; UK based music executive recently shared via social media that his book titled Essential Notes: A Glimpse of the Reality of the Music Industry is scheduled for publication in another eighteen days.

As a caption to a recent post on Instagram which consisted of the book’s cover, Squidell wrote that the surplus time he had in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, led him to direct his focus towards something he wanted to do for a long time.

Essential notes:  A Glimpse into the Reality of the Music Industry, is a backstage pass allowing fans and consumers to experience life beyond the spotlight, and is intended to  serve as a handbook for those aspiring to pursue a career in music and becomes available online and selected stores come May 28.
