Dancehall artist Andre Whittaker, more popularly known as Squash, has reportedly been detained by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE).

The detention comes mere two weeks after the artiste was arrested in Florida on gun charges. Days after his arrest it was reported that he posted bail, however checks revealed that the Subout DJ was transferred to an ICE Detention centre in Florida.

Squash who resides in Florida, was charged with possessing a concealed firearm, specifically a short barrel shotgun, rifle, or machine gun.

This is not Squash’s first encounter with the law. In 2023, he was arrested on immigration-related charges. Additionally, in 2019, the Montego Bay native was arrested by police under the SOE.

Squash gained a significant following in the dancehall scene and is known for hits like Money Fever and Trending.
