Taxi operators on the St. Ann’s bay to Discovery Bay route have withdrawn their services today in protest of the lack of a transportation center.

The drivers’ protest began about 8:00 A.M., causing significant delays for many commuters.

One driver told IRIE FM News this morning that they have been parking at a private facility, but the owners have raised concerns about this arrangement.

As a result, the drivers are calling on the relevant authorities to address the issue as soon as possible.
