Some taxi operators in St. Elizabeth withdrew service this morning to protest poor state of roads
Taxi operators who ply the Santa Cruz to Elderslie route in St. Elizabeth withdrew service this morning to protest the poor state of the road.
It is understood that the drivers were off the road from 5 am to 10 am.
They say the road is in a bad state and there have been a number of incidents where vehicles run off the road.
One taxi operator known as Chubby says they were told about efforts to have the roads repaired.
It is understood that a meeting is to be held on Thursday.
