Some residents of St. Elizabeth are calling for urgent psychological intervention, as they continue to feel the effects of Hurricane Melissa.
The hurricane which made landfall in Jamaica on October 28 claimed at least 45 lives and damaged thousands of homes and public infrastructure.
St. Elizabeth is among parishes which were hit the hardest.
Speaking with reporters, some residents of Parottee said they are finding it difficult to cope.
Fisherman Ranny Bennett who lost many items to the hurricane is calling for urgent counselling.
Another resident, said the devastation has taken a toll on her and her loved ones.
