Some Manchester roads blocked by downed trees following heavy winds and rains
Some roads in Manchester are affected by downed trees and at least one school in the parish has sustained damage due to heavy rains and strong winds.
Some sections of the island have been impacted by inclement weather, since Wednesday.
Mayor of Mandeville Donovan Mitchell says a basic school has lost its roof due to strong winds.
He says Perth Road has been blocked by downed trees.
In the meantime, the mayor says there has been no report of flooding.
He credited this to drain cleaning efforts and the clearance of a blockage on flood prone Ward Avenue.
