Some Manchester farmers reportedly facing bleak Christmas due to recent heavy rains which destroyed crops
Farmers in South Manchester say heavy rains over the past two days have left them in a dilemma, just three months after the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
Owen Charliecombe, a farmer in Logwood, Alligator Pond said he is counting his losses.
He said his plans for the Christmas season seem uncertain.
Meanwhile, Damian Newman another farmer in the community says crops such as scallion and cauliflower were impacted.
