Affected trust claimants at fraud hit Stocks and Securities Limited, SSL should begin to get partial payout by next month.
This as an SSL victims compensation fund has been established.
It will facilitate pay outs to victims of the alleged fraud.
In a notice to clients, Trustee Caydion Campbell said the intention is to make a partial distribution to these clients in May 2025.
All affected clients, who have not yet done so, are being asked to submit their proof of claim by Wednesday April 30.
The submission should include any supporting documentation or other forms of evidence to substantiate actual losses suffered due to the alleged fraudulent activities.
The proof of claim is mandatory to facilitate the processing and adjudication of claims by the trustee and to transfer reconciled cash balances and local securities to unaffected, or, off balance sheet, claimants.
The trustee further advised that clients with cash balances are required to provide their banking details, to facilitate transfers.
And, as it relates to local equities and fixed income securities held at the Jamaica Central Securities Depository, JCSD clients are required to indicate their receiving broker information no later than Wednesday April 30.
If clients do not have a JCSD account with another broker, they are required to open one with a broker of their choice to access their portfolio.
