As preparations continue for the hurricane season, Energy Minister Daryl Vaz is urging solar stakeholders to prioritise resilience and not only focus on installations.

The plea was made during an Energy Expo hosted by the FosRich Company at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel yesterday.

Mr. Vaz’s Technical Assistant, Donniaree Miurhead, addressed the Expo on his behalf.

She noted that clean energy must not only power progress but also ensure protection during crises.
