More than a week after being injured from gunshots he received in a Florida shooting; social media personality Akeem Dunbar more popularly known as World Dawg is thankful for the support he is receiving from his fans.

World Dawg, took to his official Facebook where he shared a short message of appreciation to his fans. He wrote in part ‘Thank you guys for your prayers. Fans and well wishers have since taken to the comment section of the post to wish him well and send him love.

According to reports in International Media, the popular social media personality was shot in Florida on the morning of Tuesday October 15. A man who was in the vehicle with Dunbar was also shot and killed.

Dunbar who is Jamaican and resides in Miami is reportedly still receiving treatment in hospital.
