Six people arrested in relation to seizure of over 500 parcels of Ganja in St. Thomas
A total of six people have been arrested in relation to the seizure of over 500 parcels of Ganja during an operation on Ken Jones Highway, in St. Thomas, on Wednesday.
Head of the St. Thomas Police Division, Superintendent Allison Byfield said a team of officers conducted an operation at a premises off the highway, which led to the discovery of over 2000 lbs of vegetable matter resembling Ganja.
The illicit drug has an estimated street value of $12.2 million.
