Hours after its release, Shenseea’s album ‘Never Gets Late Here’ currently sits at the number one position on the iTunes Reggae Albums Chart. 

The 14-track album, executive produced by London on da Track, was released today and includes collaborations with Anitta, Coi Leray, Wizkid, and Masicka. In addition to London on da Track, the album features a bevy of producers, including Supa Dups and Jamaican natives Rvssian and Di Genius.

In an interview with People Magazine, Shenseea said she has no specific expectations for ‘Never Gets Late Here,’ but she does have one wish: to get a Grammy.

“I don’t have any expectations to say this is going to be the one,” she said. “I just try to make the best music that I could to curate on this album because, as the title says, ‘Never Gets Late Here.’”

Keeping an open mind, Shenseea added, “One wish is to definitely get a Grammy.”
