Popcaan, Jesse Royal, and Shuga are among the many sending healing energy to Shenseea today, as she marks five years since the passing of her mother.

Shenseea commemorated the day with a heartfelt Instagram post — sharing a picture slide featuring childhood moments with her mom, as well as a photo from the funeral.

In her caption, she wrote, “Today marks 5 years mommy” followed by a broken heart emoji, and ended with, “we love and miss you.”

Popcaan commented, “Long live mommy,” while Jesse Royal added, “Nutten but love!!! Who feels it knows it.”

Singer Shuga offered words of comfort, writing, “She would’ve been so proud of your strides and growth, both as a mother and a successful businesswoman.”

Shenseea’s mother, Castilyn Eleanor Williams, passed away in June 2020 at the age of 52. Initially, the cause of death was not publicly shared, but Shenseea later revealed that her mom had suffered a mild stroke followed by a fatal heart attack while hospitalized.
