Shenseea & Daddy Yankee drop ‘Echo’ as World Cup album’s third single
Dancehall artiste Shenseea and Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee have ignited the FIFA World Cup 2026 build-up with Echo, a new single from the tournament’s official soundtrack.
The high-energy track delivers a seamless fusion of dancehall and reggaeton, crafting a bold, cross-cultural anthem designed to resonate with audiences worldwide.
Executive produced by acclaimed hitmaker Tainy, the song samples Red & Black Light by Ibrahim Maalouf, while additional production comes from Massari, Adium, Jota Rosa and Albert Hype.
Released via Def Jam recordings in partnership with Salxco UAM, Echo forms part of FIFA’s strategy to curate a global soundtrack for what it has dubbed “the greatest show on earth.”
Echo follows the earlier releases of Lighter and Por Ella, the latter also produced by Tainy, as part of a multi-phase musical rollout leading up to the 2026 tournament. Fifa said each release contributes to a broader cultural narrative, bringing together diverse sounds and voices to celebrate the global game.
