Dancehall fans in the Motherland are in for a treat as industry stars Mavado and Shenseea head east Africa, for their debut performance in at BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda on January 3.

The announcement made by the venue with subsequent confirmations from both artistes underscores the growing desire for dancehall music in Africa and other sections of the globe.

Meanwhile, Shenseea is already in the Motherland for Detty December, the high-energy festivities that take place in Nigeria every December, in cities like Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.

A few days ago, Shenseea sparked excitement online after sharing a playful video where she hyped her upcoming trip announcing plans in Nigerian Pidgin to visit Lagos for the famous West African festivities while imploring her fans to bring her gold, frankincense and a rich man.
