Dancehall deejay Shawn Storm is thanking Judge Marva McDonald Bishop for her fairness following his release from prison on Wednesday (July 31). 

In a TikTok live, Shawn Storm explained that he wanted to give her credit the minute he stepped through the gates of the General Penitentiary (GP) in Kingston.

Justice Marva McDonald Bishop, who was recently appointed President of the Court of Appeals, is the first female to hold this prestigious role, marking a historic milestone in Jamaica’s judicial system.

Vybz Kartel, Shawn Storm, and their two co-accused were acquitted of the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams after serving 13 years.

Kartel, Shawn Storm, and Andre St. John were released on Wednesday (July 31).
