Shamera Sterling-Humphrey sponsored by Adelaide based real estate agency
Shamera Sterling-Humphrey is now reaping the financial benefits of her exceptionally high level of play in the Suncorp Super Netball League in Australia.
The star Sunshine Girls defender has put pen to paper on a sponsorship deal with Adelaide Based real estate agency McKenzie Property Co-Prospect.
Details of the deal which have not been revealed, comes on the heels of Sterling-Humphrey having another sensational season on the defensive side of the court for reigning champions Adelaide Thunderbirds.
Heading into round 10, Sterling-Humphrey, who is the reigning league MVP, occupies top spot in defensive rebounds and deflections with 22 and 62 respectively and is also second in intercepts with 28 – five behind teammate Latanya Wilson – while also holding down the number 3 spot in Nissan net points with 780.
The Montegonian returns to action on Saturday – alongside Wilson and Romelda Aiken-George – for the third placed Thunderbirds who play away to a Giants Netball team featuring Jamaican compatriot Jodi-Ann Ward at the Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney.
Elsewhere, the trio of Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard, Shanice Beckford and Kadie-Ann Dehaney will suit up for second place West Coast Fever against the NSW Swifts at RAC Arena in Perth and Shimona Jok (formerly Nelson) take center-court for newcomers Melbourne Mavericks against the Queensland Firebirds at John Cain Arena in Melbourne.
