Several roadways in Portland have been rendered impassable following heavy rainfall.

Some of the roads are flooded, while others are being impacted by silt or landslides. 

Communication Officer at the National Works Agency, Natalie Bloomfield says a landslide has rendered the Coopers Hill main road impassable.

She said teams have been deployed to the affected areas.

Ms. Bloomfield said works continue on the section of the Bangor Ridge main road which broke away at the weekend.
